Waiting List
There will not be a waiting list. If one or more runners drop out, I may reopen registration to allow for 20 runners. It will be first come, first serve. I don't want to give people false hope by opening up a waiting list. Chances are, if you aren't one of the first 20 to register, you won't be able to officially participate in the event.
* Note about Official Bandit Runners: These runners have yet to complete a full marathon, so they are not eligible for award money, nor are they eligible to place in the top 3. If, before TSFB, they run a full marathon slowly enough to qualify for the race, their statuses will change from "Official Bandit" to "Official Runner." All Official Bandit Runners will be listed as official finishers. The only difference is that they can't earn a top 3 finish and award money.
** These runners are too fast to qualify, and they will run as "Official Bandits." The only differences between them and the other runners is that they are not allowed a top 3 finish (3 slowest runners), and they are not eligible for award money (they still pay an entry fee). If they have previously run the Boston Marathon, we'll offer them a special cardboard medal that includes parts of the TSFB medal as well as the Boston Marathon medal.
