The 2012 Valley Games - July 13-16

Four Days of Marathons in Boone, NC during the week of the Highlands Games in Linville, NC.

The Highlands Games will be held in Linville from July 12-15. The 2012 Valley Games will be held from July 13-16, so we won't exactly coincide this year; however, we will next year. The 2013 Valley Games will consist of 8 days of marathons.

The winner of The Valley Games, each year, will be awarded the Lie-Nielsen Cup. The trophy may be different each year, based on our available funding, but we'll have something each year.

Each day will have a theme to it.

Day 1: The Teddy (Inaugural) - Friday, July 13 (Friday the 13th!) at the Greenway Course
Day 2: Unprofessional Marathon (Inaugural) - Saturday, July 14 at the Gravel Horsehsit Course (Trail)
Day 3: Flatlanders Marathon (3rd Annual) - Sunday, July 15 at the Greenway Course
Day 4: The Jelly Legs Marathon (2nd Annual) - Monday, July 16 at the Greenway Course
