I love seeing weird stuff at marathons. Jogglers (juggling runners), men in tutus, Elvises, whatever. This kind of behavior is welcomed and encouraged. My only requests are that you don't run naked, and that you make a reasonable effort to not offend anyone.
This course is great for shoeless running. There are very few rocks (I'll try to do some sweeping prior to the races), and the pavement is smooth, with plenty of grass shoulder.
I also love a cup or two of beer around mile 20, so that may be happening at some of these races as well. We'll have to be discrete, but I don't think it'll be a problem.
If you have any ideas or questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
very cool. i look forward to this run!
